
Colleen’s early ambition to become a professional makeup artist began while studying print and fabric design at The Fashion Institute of Technology and School of Visual Arts in New York. Colleen’s past design experience covers some of the most important names in fashion where she specialized in fabric and print styling for Deborah Marquit, Ellen Tracy, Isaac Mizrahi and Saks Fifth Avenue. She traveled to Paris, Florence, Milan, London, Dublin and Hong Kong gaining more international experience in the fashion world. During her years as a designer she had the rare opportunity to watch some of the great makeup artists such as Kevyn Aucoin and Bobbi Brown backstage at numerous fashion shows. It was during this time that Colleen came to realize her true calling.
Recently, Colleen has been added to the list of presenters at The Powder Group in New York City. She joins a group of the industry’s experts in fashion, editorial, film and theater. She has worked with leading photographers such as Richard Mclaren, Norman Jean Roy, Melanie Dunea, Marili Forastieri, Matt Antrobus and the late Steven Steigman. Her resume’ includes, key makeup for The Golden Trailer Awards, the award show dedicated to feature film trailers, 3Lab Skincare, Armani Exchange, Carasan, Olympus Fashion Week in New York, Smashbox Studios Fashion Week in L.A., ACM Awards, CMA Awards, The View, Oprah, Oxygen Network, VH1, MTV, CMT, The Today Show, CBS Morning Show, Hannity & Combes, A & E and Fox & Friends. She has also assisted leading makeup artists such as Brigitte Reiss-Andersen, Gregory Arlt, James Kaliardos, Emma Lovell, Dick Page, John Singleton and Troy Surratt. Colleen has worked independently with musicians and celebrities such as, Sara Evans, Lee Ann Womack, Julie Roberts, Michelle Branch, Gavin Degraw, Billy Currington, Toby Keith, Little Big Town, Lindsay Haun, “The Bachelor” Travis Stork, Jim Gaffigan, Princess Ann Claire, Tom Green, Dennis Miller and Korean actress Cho Jin Sil.
Colleen currently resides in New York.
